Liangping New Year paintings: traditional woodblock New Year paintings, which are as famous as Mianzhu New Year paintings in northwest Sichuan and Jiajiang New Year paintings in southern Sichuan, and are collectively known as the "three major New Year paintings in the southwest", have a history of more than 300 years. Liangping New Year paintings are divided into four categories: parallel imports, consignment, Qingzhang, and flower paper. The paper used is white bamboo handmade paper produced in the local Baili Bamboo Sea. The coloring process of New Year paintings is exquisite, the raw materials are superior, the colors are bright and eye-catching, solemn and calm, and the colors will not fade after being preserved for many years. Whether it is depicting customs and human feelings, or folk stories, opera myths, they are full of a strong breath of life. The composition is full and concise, the characters are exaggerated and deformed, the color contrast is strong, the static and dynamic treatment is proper, and the shape is simple and rough. The traditional New Year painting "Silang Visits His Mother" is included in the "Complete Collection of Chinese Art", and "Promotion" is included in the "Complete Collection of Chinese Folk Art".
