Zengfang Bridge Gang Lantern on Shishang (Second Batch of Provincial Level) Zengfang Bridge Gang Lantern on Shishang is preserved in the Zengfang Village Group of Chibu Village, Shishang Town, Ningdu County. This is an area developed by Hakka people and is a pure Hakka village. Zengfang Bridge Gang Lantern on Shishang has a history of more than 400 years. According to the Zeng family genealogy, the Zeng family in Zengfang Village came from the Hakka in Donglu. It is said that Zeng Ju, the 13th generation grandson of Zeng, served as an official in the Han Dynasty. In 9 AD, Wang Mang abolished the Western Han Emperor and proclaimed himself emperor and changed the dynasty. Zeng Ju was loyal to the Han Dynasty. He left Beijing and crossed the Yangtze River to the south with his family. He settled in Yuanzhou (now Yichun, Jiangxi) and then passed through Hunan, Guangdong, Fujian and other places. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Zeng Yonggong came to Zengfang to establish a foundation. He did not forget his ancestral teachings and was loyal to the Han Dynasty. He built a Han Emperor Temple at the east end of the village and sculpted the statue of the Han Emperor for worship.
