Bangbangbian is also called "Bawangbian" or "Qianbianzi". In some places, it is called "Dahuagun'er" or "Daqianchuanzi". The number of performers varies. Each dancer holds a colorful bamboo stick with copper coins and bells, and taps his shoulders, toes, palms, arms and wrists to the beat of the music. The formation keeps changing, the bells ring, and the singing is cheerful and melodious. The performers sing while dancing, and the audience is intoxicated. The lyrics and tunes are derived from the ancient folk flowers. It is an authentic and original folk song and dance art. Bangbangbian is now a municipal intangible cultural heritage.
