There is a special custom in Wenzhou during the Mid-Autumn Festival, called "small decorations", that is, around the Mid-Autumn Festival, in some shops, people put several tables in the middle hall, and specially display various small model items, some of which are Wenchang Temple, some of which are the government offices of frontier officials or the residences of kings, marquises, and generals. All the banners, couplets, banners, couplets, musical instruments, flower gardens, towers, carriages, lanterns, candlesticks, tables, plates and bowls are all available, which are very realistic. And they are all reduced to nine or fifteen centimeters, and the materials are made of jade, silver, copper, tin, wood, stone, etc. Ordinary people only have two or three tables. In order to show off their wealth, rich people also hire craftsmen to make fine work. There are more than a dozen tables, which cannot be placed in the middle hall, so they set up another room for display. The following is a full picture of the small decorations displayed in the Xinfuxing Copper and Tin Utensils Store in Wenzhou in the old days: dozens of square tables are arranged in a long strip. At the front is a two-story ancient palace-style gate, with carved beams and painted buildings, flying eaves and corners, layers of green, and magnificent gold and jade. There is a long table in the middle of the gate, covered with a table, on which is placed a tin incense burner, two incense holders, two candlesticks, and on both sides are placed golden drums and gongs, a pair of large gongs, and 8 head cards. The official title on the card is "Zitong Emperor", who is in charge of literature. Behind the long table is a small square table, on which is placed a large incense burner, a Mingjiaotang lamp, and a tablet. On the upper floor of the gate is a standing statue of Kuixing with his feet on a golden turtle head, which means to be the best. Behind the gate is a long corridor, which occupies about 10 tables. In the middle of the corridor, there are tables of various shapes, on which small items are displayed, such as amber, agate, coral, jasper, pearls and jadeite carvings; various utensils such as screens, vases, incense burners, Ruyi, figures, and silver objects. Hundreds of clever arrangements, antique style. On both sides of the long corridor, various ceremonial guards are displayed, such as large banners, flying flags, centipede flags, pointed flags, square flags, and umbrella caps. The equipment is extremely exquisite. The middle section of the ceremonial guard is decorated with bonsai of tongcao flowers, which are colorful and dazzling. On the main hall sits the statue of Emperor Wenchang, which is carved from hard wood. He has a white face and long beard, wears a golden wing crown, and wears a white satin dragon robe. He looks energetic. On both sides stand eunuchs, one old and one young. The old one is smiling and the young one is childish. On the side halls, there are two groups of figures, one for the fine blowing and the other for the blowing class. They are also carved from wood and wear fashionable clothes such as shaved hats and long gowns, and some wear vests. There are about seven or eight musicians in each group, sitting around a small square table, on which are displayed various musical instruments such as pipa, huqin, flute, yueqin, gongs and drums, as well as tea trays, teapots, tea cups and other objects. Behind the main hall is the harem. In the central hall is a statue of the goddess, wearing a phoenix crown and a shawl, with a graceful appearance, and the palace maids on both sides are decorated gorgeously. To the right of the side hall is the study, with bookcases and desks in the room, and small antiques on the treasure shelves. The room is clean and bright, and extremely elegant and quiet. To the left is a bedroom, with closets and cabinets. There are bright mirror frames and various cosmetics on the dressing table. On the top is a wooden bed with delicate carvings and colorful pillows and quilts on the bed. All the gates, main halls, harems, and corridors are hung with bright corner palace lanterns. Finally, there is a garden, with exquisite rockery, winding paths, lush flowers and trees (made of paper and tongcao), and a pool in the middle (a square hole is cut in the square table, and aluminum iron is pressed on it to make a square water storage container, which stores clean water). The water ripples, goldfish swim, and a natural scenery that makes people fascinated. The entire furnishings are ingenious and ingenious, and it is amazing.
