The main production area of Yue Kiln is in the place where the ancient Yue people lived. It was called Yuezhou in the Tang Dynasty, and Yue Kiln got its name from this. Yue Kiln is famous for producing celadon. Its porcelain making skills, decorative techniques and modeling styles have reached a very high level in ancient my country. In particular, the "secret color porcelain" specially fired for the palace has become a classic of ancient Chinese ceramic firing. The mature technology of Yue Kiln celadon has enabled it to reach a high level in both modeling and decorative art. Due to the clear glaze color suitable for engraving, printing, scratching and other decorations, as well as the development of brown color painting, coupled with the influence of Tang Dynasty gold and silver wares, silk, lacquerware and other handicraft patterns, the unique decorative style of Yue Kiln celadon has been formed. There are many types of molded ceramic sculptures in Yue Kiln celadon, which has become an important feature of its modeling art. Yue Kiln has been in production for nearly a thousand years, and has not only preserved many Yue Kiln celadon products, but also passed down the exquisite Yue Kiln celadon firing techniques. Today's kiln workers have inherited and developed the glaze and shape decoration techniques based on the traditional Yue Kiln celadon craftsmanship, preserved traditional techniques such as engraving, scratching, brown color, and shaping, and developed celadon painting, which not only protects and inherits the traditional Yue Kiln craftsmanship, but also makes Yue Kiln celadon truly integrated into the lives of modern people.
