Expressing their love for nature and their longing for a better life. The Uyghur embroidery patterns are mainly drawn from various animals, flowers and fruits, and auspicious and festive Kazakh and Chinese characters. They are often symmetrical in a chain, with reasonable layout and dense but not chaotic patterns. The red flowers and green leaves are colorful and the tones are warm and lively. Some of the colored threads used in Uyghur embroidery are spun and dyed by themselves. The dyes are made from various colored plants and minerals. It takes dozens or even hundreds of days to complete an exquisite embroidery. Uygur embroidery is unique and has a high artistic and historical research value.
