The main production process of "Xiao's Lacquer Art" is: lacquer selection, filtration, oxidation polymerization, mature lacquer, re-filtration, finished product, and adding physical pigments (mineral pigments) according to various situations; among them: (1) lacquer filtering; lacquer directly cut from lacquer trees has more impurities and must be filtered. (2) Lacquer drying: pour the raw lacquer into a lacquer drying tray. The lacquer drying tray can be a large shallow porcelain basin, or a container made of plastic cloth spread in a large wooden basin. (3) Lacquer frying: It is to dehydrate by artificial heating. The method is to pour the raw lacquer into a large porcelain bowl or aluminum pot, and then place the porcelain bowl (aluminum pot) in a pot of water to heat it. When the water content of the lacquer liquid reaches 5%6%, it is ready.
