Haihe Ancient Channel Park
Haihe Ancient Channel Park is located in the north of Xianshuigu Town, an important ancient post town. Before the Republic of China, Xianshuigu was a key point of waterway transportation. It was an important place in the capital and a shipping hub. It has been famous for shipping, salt industry, rice and trade since ancient times. It is the hometown of Zhou Ruchang, a master of Redology. The Haihe River straightening project during the Republic of China left us with a beautiful "U" shape. In 2009, the government invested heavily to carry out comprehensive management of the Haihe Ancient Channel in accordance with international modern water ecological environment standards, and built the north bank into a beautiful park. The park uses Gushui ecological culture as a link, fully utilizes and gives play to the existing natural advantages, restores and enriches the wetland ecological environment of the Haihe Ancient Channel, connects the dock commercial port culture, canal customs culture and celebrity culture, combines historical culture with regional characteristics, and reproduces Tianjin's unique regional cultural characteristics and profound historical precipitation in time and space. Zhou Ruchang Road, named after Zhou Ruchang, a master of Redology, was built on the south bank, running through the east and west, becoming a cultural landscape belt. Let people recall the cultural origins of the Haihe River and the ancient town style of Xianshuigu during leisure and sightseeing. Haihe River Ancient Road Amusement Park is located in the Beihaihe River Ancient Road Amusement Park in Xianshuigu Town, Jinnan District. It organically integrates traditional culture with modern entertainment concepts. The amusement park takes the continuous improvement of the quality of life of the public as its mission and takes "We share happiness" as its theme. There are more than 20 land and water amusement projects including high-altitude flying, carousel, ground net bumper car, space walk, self-controlled aircraft, naughty castle, children's excavator, pedal boat, electric boat, speedboat, etc. Together with the beautiful scenery of the park, it constitutes a comprehensive place integrating leisure, fitness, catering and entertainment. Three-faced Guanyin stone statue at Chaoyin Temple
The Three-Faced Guanyin is located in Xidagu (now called Xiangluowan Financial District) on the west bank of the Haihe River in Tanggu District, Tianjin. It was first built in the second year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1404). It was a temple built by local residents. It was originally named "Nanhai Grand Temple" and also known as "Shuangshan Temple". Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty ordered it to be rebuilt and renamed it "Chaoyin Temple" with a plaque inscribed by his imperial hand. It faces the Dagu Haikou and is one of the few temples in the country that sits west and faces east. It is also the only cultural relic open to the public in the southern line of Tanggu District. Chaoyin Temple consists of a three-story main hall, four side halls in the north and south, and two north-south courtyards. It has a Liuxian Pavilion, which enshrines fourteen Buddhas including Guanyin Bodhisattva. It is an approved religious activity site. The existing building was rebuilt in the fifth year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1727). It faces west and east and faces the Haihe River. There were originally two courtyards in the front and back. The existing mountain gate, the main hall and four side halls, as well as a Liushan Pavilion and north-south courtyards are still there. The main hall is three rooms wide and one room deep, with front and back corridors, green tiles and hard roofs, and a brick and wood structure. The temple once enshrined the statue of Guanyin of the South China Sea, commonly known as the "Bodhisattva Grandma". It is the only temple left in Dagukou that worships the sea god. It features the sea and ships, and has been endowed with a legendary color for hundreds of years due to the origin of Guanyin Bodhisattva and the legend of Lu Ban's skillful repair of Chaoyin Temple. It also features ancient buildings in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and plaques and couplets that are appreciated by both the elite and the masses. Chaoyin Temple has a long history and a special geographical location. It was once the center of Tanggu's economic, trade, cultural and folk activities. Many people who went out to sea to fish came here to burn incense and worship Buddha in order to seek the protection of the gods. Now, temple fairs are held on the 19th day of the second lunar month (the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva), and blessing ceremonies are held in the temple, and there are also yangko performances outside the temple.
Tianjin Seaside Tourist Resort
Tianjin Seaside Tourist Resort was built in 1989 and is located on the shore of the Donkey River in Tanggu District. In 1988, it was approved by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government as a provincial tourist resort and enjoys various preferential policies of provincial economic and technological development zones. In 2001, it was rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration. The planned area of the scenic spot is 22.5 square kilometers, and 2 square kilometers have been built and developed. After more than ten years of development and construction, the resort has become a tourist resort with the ocean as its feature and hot springs as its advantage, integrating marine tourism, hot spring health, leisure vacation, conference reception, development and investment.
