Tianjin Shijia Courtyard (Tianjin Yangliuqing Museum)

Shi Family Courtyard is located in the center of Yangliuqing, a thousand-year-old town, on the bank of the South Canal where the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal flows through Tianjin. It was originally the residence of Shi Yuanshi, one of the Eight Great Families of Tianjin in the late Qing Dynasty. The Shi family was originally from Shandong. After their ancestors made their fortune in the grain transport industry, they settled in Yangliuqing during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. In the third year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1823), the Shi family divided their property into four main gates, namely Fushan Hall, Zhenglian Hall, Tianxi Hall, and Zunmei Hall. Each gate has a large-scale building. The current Shi Family Courtyard is the only remaining "Zunmei Hall" mansion, which was once known as "the first family in Tianjin" and "the first house in North China".

Jing Wu Men·Chinese Martial Arts Park

The Chinese Martial Arts Park is located in Xiaonanhe Village, Jingwu Town. It is a key project of Tianjin's cultural tourism industry in 2010, and is also a key project for Xiqing District to develop the cultural tourism industry and build a martial arts tourism sector. Since the project started, it has received much attention from leaders at all levels. With the efforts and expectations of many parties, the Chinese Martial Arts Park will be built into a world Jingwu cultural center integrating domestic and foreign martial arts exchanges, cultural exchanges, tourism, patriotism education bases, and film and television bases. The Chinese Martial Arts Park is based on the construction concept of combining Chinese traditional culture with Jingwu culture, integrating martial arts ethics and martial arts spirits, highlighting the spirit of self-improvement of Jingwu people, "patriotism, fitness, justice, and helping others". The first phase of the project was officially launched in April this year, covering an area of 242 acres, with a construction area of 16,135 square meters, and an estimated investment of 200 million yuan. It mainly includes two single buildings, namely Huo Yuanjia Mausoleum and Huo Yuanjia Memorial Hall. Among them, Huo Yuanjia Mausoleum was expanded on the original site, covering an area of about 110 mu, with a construction area of 3,533 square meters, including Guanwu Pavilion, square, mountain gate, main hall, archway, mausoleum, etc. The mausoleum is full of lush pines and cypresses, magnificent palaces, and quiet atmosphere. The "Martial Spirit" written by Mr. Sun Yat-sen for the Jingwu Athletic Association is engraved on the white marble archway of Huo Yuanjia Mausoleum for Jingwu friends and people from all walks of life to pay respect and worship; Huo Yuanjia Memorial Hall covers an area of about 132 mu, with a construction area of 12,602 square meters. The memorial hall is a three-story building with a yin-yang fish structure, supported by a Bagua-shaped base, which will comprehensively and systematically display Huo Yuanjia's legendary life and the creation and development process of Jingwu Association. In addition, Huo Yuanjia Martial Arts Hall and Jingwu Hall are under planning and design, and construction will start soon. In terms of overall planning, the Chinese Martial Arts Park will rely on Xiaonanhe Village to make full use of geographical advantages and develop a distinctive Jingwu culture. Establish professional research institutions, build a martial arts exchange platform, build a martial arts professional teaching and research base, and cultivate all-round martial arts talents. While creating the Jingwu cultural area, use its own resources to develop Jingwu culture, build a film and television city, folk area, consumer entertainment facilities, etc., and build the Chinese Martial Arts Park into a world-renowned Jingwu cultural brand.
