Sacred City of Caral-Supe
The 5,000-year-old archaeological site of Caral-Supe is a 626-hectare site located on a dry desert terrace overlooking the green valley of the Supe River. Dating back to the Late Archaic period in the Central Andes, it is the oldest center of civilization in the Americas. The site is well-preserved and impressive for the complexity of its design and architecture, especially its massive stone and earthen platforms and sunken circular courtyards. Caral is one of 18 urban settlements located in the same area, with complex and magnificent architecture, including six large pyramid structures. Knots (a system of knots used in Andean civilizations to record information) found on the site attest to the development and complexity of Caral society. The planning of the city and some of its components, including pyramid structures and elite residences, clearly indicate ceremonial functions, suggesting a strong religious ideology.
Green Island Swimming Pool
Green Island Swimming Pool was built in 2012 and is affiliated to Green Island Holiday Plaza Co., Ltd. It is a one-stop leisure, shopping and entertainment venue integrating swimming, catering, hotels, cinemas, KTV and shopping malls. Green Island Swimming Pool is located on the 6th floor of Green Island Holiday Plaza, Renmin West Road, Hengshui City. It is the only aerial swimming and water park in Hebei Province. It is a large indoor water entertainment venue designed with a hydrophilic concept and built in a subtropical rainforest environment. With a business area of 5,000 square meters, it has a 25*50-meter nine-lane international standard swimming pool that can host large-scale swimming competitions and swimming training. The water depth in the deep water area is 1.8 meters, and the water depth in the shallow water area is 1.42 meters. It is equipped with 8 professional swimming starting platforms; unique large-scale family interactive water slides, spiral water slides, bubble massage pools, buckets and other thrilling entertainment facilities. The pool water in the pool adopts the internationally advanced water quality circulation filtration and disinfection system, and the water quality is clear, ensuring that the water quality meets the national health standards. The hall is 10 meters high, with ample daylight and an elegant environment. Beijing Aquarium
Beijing Oceanarium is located on the north bank of Changhe River in Beijing Zoo, covering an area of 120,000 square meters and a building area of 42,000 square meters. It integrates viewing, popular science education and leisure and entertainment. It is currently the world's largest inland aquarium. Wanlong Ski Resort
Wanlong Ski Resort is located in Honghualiang area, Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is the first open ski resort in China, covering an area of more than 700,000 square meters, with the highest point at an altitude of 2,110.3 meters and a vertical drop of 550 meters. It is 249 kilometers away from Beijing and 60 kilometers away from Zhangjiakou City. The ski resort was put into operation in the winter of 2003, and has developed 22 beginner, intermediate and advanced ski slopes with a slope of 7-20 degrees, a total length of 33,600 meters, and a total area of more than 900,000 square meters. Each ski slope is equipped with a complete snowmaking system.
