It was rated as a national AAAA-level scenic spot in 2005 and was praised by the Chinese Culture Promotion Association as "China's No. 1 Place for Sea Viewing and Blessing" in 2011. It is the only cultural tourism scenic spot in China with the theme of sea view and blessing. The Memorial Hall of the Battle of Pingjin is located in Hongqiao District, Tianjin. It is a modern exhibition hall that comprehensively introduces the Battle of Pingjin.
