Former Site of Fujuxing Machinery Factory
The former site of Fujuxing Machinery Factory is located in the southeast of Hongqiao District, Tianjin, adjacent to Sanchahekou and Dahutong commercial district, covering an area of more than 630 square meters. It is the only historical relic preserved in the Santiaoshi area that reflects the formation and development process of Tianjin's machinery manufacturing industry. It is also one of the relatively complete industrial heritage sites in Tianjin.
Wanlong Ski Resort
Wanlong Ski Resort is located in Honghualiang area, Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It is the first open ski resort in China, covering an area of more than 700,000 square meters, with the highest point at an altitude of 2,110.3 meters and a vertical drop of 550 meters. It is 249 kilometers away from Beijing and 60 kilometers away from Zhangjiakou City. The ski resort was put into operation in the winter of 2003, and has developed 22 beginner, intermediate and advanced ski slopes with a slope of 7-20 degrees, a total length of 33,600 meters, and a total area of more than 900,000 square meters. Each ski slope is equipped with a complete snowmaking system. Among them: 2 beginner trails: Youlong Trail and Wolong Trail; 4 intermediate trails: Yulong Trail, Xiaolong Trail, Jiaolong Trail and Kulong Trail; 16 advanced trails: Jinlong Trail, Yinlong Trail, Xuanlong Trail, Feilong Trail, Weilong Trail, Zhonghua Dragon Trail, Tenglong Trail, Menglong Trail, Dinosaur Trail, Secret Dragon Trail, Yunlong Trail, Hailong Trail, Fenglong Trail, Shuanglong Trail, Xuelong Trail and Yilong Trail; among them, Jinlong and Yinlong ski trails have passed the acceptance of the International Ski Federation (FIS); the advanced foreign snowmaking system has been introduced, and the snowmaking area covers the entire ski resort. At the same time, combined with natural snowfall, Wanlong Ski Resort has become the earliest ski resort opened in Asia. The scenic area is equipped with 5 double chairlifts and 4-person chairlifts, 4,780 meters long, 1 magic carpet, 280 meters long, and a unit time capacity of 8,300 people/hour. In 2011, a new fast cableway (high-speed cable car) was built, with a length of 1,994 meters, 95 4-person chairlifts, and a capacity of 2,400 people/hour. It takes 7 minutes from the foot of the mountain to the top of Honghualiang Mountain (previously, the fixed cableway took 15 minutes to reach the top). Wanlong Ski Resort has introduced 3,000 sets of the latest foreign carbine skis and new Solomon high-end ski equipment. The reception hall of more than 3,500 square meters is equipped with an advanced electronic fee management system. The viewing fast food restaurant of more than 2,300 square meters can accommodate more than 1,000 people dining at the same time. Snowmobiles, snow saucers, snow sculptures and other viewing and entertainment projects are complete. The Shuanglong (three-star) Hotel, with a construction area of more than 13,000 square meters, can accommodate 400 people and is equipped with Chinese and Western restaurants, bars, business centers, conference rooms, karaoke and other service function areas; a Finnish wooden house with an area of more than 400 square meters is built on the top of Honghualiang Mountain, providing tourists with Chinese and Western leisure and dining services. The scenic area has complete infrastructure such as water, electricity, roads, and communications, which is convenient for tourists to the greatest extent. Wanlong Ski Resort currently has 22 ski slopes of different slopes, different difficulties, and different lengths, covering more than 15,000 meters of snowmaking pipelines; 1,500 acres of wild snow area; 124 guest rooms; it brings together top domestic and foreign coaches and has thousands of Solomon advanced ski equipment. Pingjin Battle Memorial Hall Scenic Area
The Memorial Hall of the Battle of Pingjin is located in Hongqiao District, Tianjin. It is a modern exhibition hall that comprehensively introduces the Battle of Pingjin. It is mainly composed of a multi-dimensional demonstration hall, a memorial square, a victory garden, a prologue hall, a battle decision-making hall, a battle implementation hall, a people's support hall, a great victory hall, and a heroic achievement hall. The multi-dimensional demonstration hall uses modern sound, light, electricity and other high-tech means, combined with panoramic large-screen global movies, background paintings, battlefield miniature landscapes and sound, to vividly reproduce the grand scenes of the Battle of Pingjin. The display content is relatively rich, and it consists of five parts: battle decision-making, battle implementation, people's support, great victory, and heroic achievements. The main building of the memorial hall is majestic and magnificent, with both Chinese traditional charm and modern aesthetic style. The front area is a three-story building with warm gray granite facing brackets.
