Qiansongba Forest Park

Located in the northwest of Fengning County, Hebei Province, southeast of the first grassland in northern Beijing, it is a newly opened tourist attraction on the Bashang grassland featuring natural secondary forest landscape. The park is composed of the Jiejiegou, Dabeigou, Baozigou, etc. It is a forest-grassland combination scenic spot dominated by spruce and larch. The highest altitude is 1,892 meters. It is very cool here in summer, with an average annual temperature of 1°C, a maximum temperature of 18.3°C, and a minimum temperature of 16.9 degrees. The active accumulated temperature is 1,895.6 degrees. The average annual precipitation is 436.7 mm and the evaporation is 1,595 mm. There are 2,706 hours of sunshine and a total radiation of 135 kcal per cubic centimeter. In the main ditch of the park, due to the low terrain and dense water conservation forests, springs overflow from the ground all year round and converge into one of the sources of the Luan River. The park is composed of granite and gneiss, and the soil is gray forest soil, fertile soil, and good vegetation growth.

The first grassland in northern Beijing

The First Grassland in Northern Beijing is located in the northwest of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province. It is the closest natural grassland to Beijing and is also part of the Inner Mongolia Plateau. It has a total area of 1,100 square kilometers and a core area of 350 square kilometers. Kowloon Pine

Jiulong Pine is located in Wudaoying Township, 15 kilometers north of Fengning County, and is a national 2A-level scenic spot. This tree was planted in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty and has gone through six dynasties. It has a history of more than 1,000 years. The tree is 8 meters high and the trunk is 3.5 meters high. The tree circumference is 525 square meters. The nine thick branches are intertwined, and the root head looks like a dragon head. The tree body is curved like a dragon body. The bark is blocky and shaped like dragon scales. The whole tree is like a dragon circling, and it is known as the "No. 1 Pine in the World". During the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi saw the magnificence of the pine tree, so he personally wrote the three words "Jiulong Pine" with his imperial pen, ordered local craftsmen to carve a plaque and hang it on the temple, and left 500 imperial guards to guard it.

Baiyun Ancient Cave

Baiyun Ancient Cave, also known as Baiyun Canyon and Chaoyang Cave, is located in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Chengde City. In the scenic area, there are Baohua Temple, Taoist Temple Qingyun Temple, and Yinxian Temple. The scenic area is surrounded by steep peaks and there is no path to enter or exit except a natural mountain gate. There are caves in the canyon, and the caves are connected. There are three relatively concentrated cave groups: Baiyun Ancient Cave Group, Babao Cave Group, and Haha Cave Group. Baiyun Cave has the largest area of about 600 square meters. There is a monk temple, and there are stupa forests and inscriptions outside the cave.
