Black Mountain Grand Canyon
The Heishan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level scenic area and a scenic spot in Hebei Province. The scenic area is located in the heart of Taihang Mountain in the northwest of Pingshan County, Hebei Province, 2 kilometers northwest of Heishanguan Village, Yingli Township, Pingshan County. The scenic area is backed by Wutai Mountain in Shanxi Province, 120 kilometers east of Shijiazhuang City, about a 2-hour drive, with an average altitude of 1,300 meters, and has a unique location advantage. The scenic area consists of more than 60 scenic spots such as service area, cultural landscape area, Longtan Waterfall Area, natural primeval forest area, main peak outdoor adventure area, Fusheng Temple, Muke Village, Yunu Peak, and Chaichaituojian, covering an area of about 17 square kilometers. Azalea, rose, lilac, golden lotus and other wild flowers and plants are everywhere in the mountains. There are more than 50 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials such as Scutellaria, Daihuang, Mustard Stem, Codonopsis, Zhuli, Bupleurum, Shengma, Changzhong, and Dianthus, and more than 20 kinds of animals such as hares, goats, roe deer, martens, pheasants, and orioles. The scenic area has abundant water resources. The mountain spring gushes out from an altitude of 1,800 meters, rushes down the cliff and falls into the valley, and flows for more than 10 miles, forming countless pools and waterfalls. Among them, the Bailong Waterfall is more than 100 meters high, as far as the sky, like a white silk hanging from the sky, and is similar to the Milky Way hanging upside down, which is very spectacular. The environment is quiet and the climate is pleasant. The average temperature in midsummer is 20 degrees Celsius. Baiquan Mountain Scenic Area
Baiquan Mountain Natural Scenic Area is located between Yanqi Lake and Yougu Shentan in Yudao, Huairou County, 63 kilometers away from Beijing. The scenic area, with its special geographical environment, magnificent mountain structure, rich vegetation and mineral resources, constitutes a unique natural landscape. Hundreds of springs hidden in the mountains make the canyon streams continuous and connected. The famous springs include Leyu Spring, Qinglong Spring, Zhiyu Spring, Shengmu Spring, Yuxian Spring, etc. There is a waterfall hanging on the top of the cliff at the back of the scenic area, with a drop of more than 60 meters, just like Guanyin Bodhisattva holding a clean bottle and sprinkling sweet rain, so it is named "Guanyin Waterfall". This waterfall flows continuously in spring, summer, and autumn, and forms huge icicles in winter, which is spectacular. There are countless kiwifruit trees in the stunning kiwi valley, forming a beautiful green valley at the end of Baiquan Mountain, like a large green net covering the valley. There are also countless hawthorns, wild pears, hazelnuts, sour dates, and mulberries, which are really rare.
Dalinggou Kiwi Valley Scenic Area
Dalinggou Village is under the jurisdiction of Changling Town. It is located 20 kilometers northwest of Changping City, in a narrow valley at the foot of the Yanshan Mountains, at the junction of Changping and Yanqing, and 10 kilometers away from the Changling Town Government. The total area of the village is 541.83 hectares, with an average altitude of about 400 meters. The ecological forest coverage rate in the village reaches more than 90%. The village is high in the north and low in the south, surrounded by mountains, with large undulating terrain, belonging to a semi-arid mountainous area. Dalinggou Village has green mountains and clear waters, rolling mountains, and an excellent ecological environment. The terrain in the village is mainly mountain fields, with less arable land, belonging to a semi-arid mountainous area. The spring is dry and windy, the summer is hot and rainy, the autumn is clear and cool, and the autumn is cold and dry. The annual precipitation is about 400-600ml. The annual rainfall is concentrated in July and August, and the soil is a thin soil layer formed by rock weathering. The soil in the area is acidic, suitable for growing walnuts and other dried fruits. At the end of the main road of the village is the gate of the Dalinggou Kiwi Valley Scenic Area. The scenic area is divided into three areas. The innermost is the Kiwi Valley Scenic Area, which is covered by virgin forests, lush trees, and very cool in summer. It is also a summer resort, and you can also taste wild kiwis. All the way up the mountain in the scenic area, stone steps have been laid on the steep slopes, and there are areas for tourists to rest.
