Fuping Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region Revolutionary Memorial Hall

In April 1948, Chairman Mao led the central organs from northern Shaanxi to Chengnanzhuang, Fuping County, the border area of Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei, and lived and worked for 46 days. During this period, an enlarged meeting of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee was held to review the situation and adjust the southern strategy, laying a solid foundation for the victory of the three major battles. Chairman Mao also personally drafted the "Slogan to Commemorate May 1, 1948 Labor Day", which for the first time specifically depicted the blueprint of New China and became the mobilization order for the founding of New China. In order to commemorate the great achievements of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries and educate and inspire future generations. In 1972, the Fuping County Party Committee and the County Government built the Chengnanzhuang Revolutionary Memorial Hall at the location of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region Command and the place where Chairman Mao lived and worked. It was officially opened to the public in 1974. It was listed as a provincial patriotic education base in 1994 and designated as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1996. In 2005, the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Region Revolutionary Memorial Hall was built on the basis of the Chengnanzhuang Revolutionary Memorial Hall.

Wufeng Mountain Li Dazhao Revolutionary Activities Site Scenic Area

Wufeng Mountain Li Dazhao Revolutionary Activity Site is located on Wufeng Mountain, 5 kilometers north of Changli County. Wufeng Mountain has strange pines, strange rocks, secluded environment and beautiful scenery. From west to east, they are Guayue Peak, Feilai Peak, Pingdou Peak, Jinxiu Peak and Wanghai Peak. Among them, Feilai Peak is the highest, with an altitude of 507 meters. These five peaks are of different shapes and are surrounded like a screen. From a close look, they look like five fingers piercing the sky, and from a distance, they look like five friends holding arms. Changli Wufeng Mountain Li Dazhao Revolutionary Activity Site was designated as a provincial patriotism education base by the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government in 1997. In 2010, it was listed as the second batch of national red tourism classic scenic spots. It is a precious red tourism resource in Qinhuangdao City. In October 2010, it was listed as a practical education base for the Young Pioneers of Hebei Province by the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Hebei Provincial Young Pioneers Committee; in April 2011, it was listed as an education demonstration base for the Party members' "Double Education Project" by the Organization Department of the Qinhuangdao Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China; in November 2011, it was named the second batch of Hebei Province Integrity Education Base by the Hebei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Propaganda Department of the Hebei Provincial Committee; in the same month, it was named "Navy Integrity Culture Education Base" by the Hebei Provincial People's Government and the Hebei Provincial Military Region.

Tianhe Mountain Scenic Area

Tianhe Mountain Tourist Area is located in the greenest part of Taihang Mountain at the junction of Shanxi and Hebei, with a total area of 30 square kilometers, 50 kilometers away from Xingtai City, convenient transportation and beautiful scenery along the way. There are many strange peaks, steep canyons, lush vegetation and verdant forests. There are waterfalls flying snow, clear springs singing, and abundant water sources. It is the famous "Taihang Mountains and Waters"; there are waves of pine waves and herds of cattle and sheep, also known as "Yunding Grassland". Tianhe Mountain Scenic Area has rich cultural heritage. As early as the Neolithic Age, humans lived in the Tianhe Mountain area. In 2005, Tianhe Mountain was registered as "China Love Mountain" by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. In 2006, Tianhe Mountain was named "Qixi" Cultural Research Base by the Chinese Folklore Society and "China Qixi Cultural Hometown" by the China Folk Artists Association.

Taoranting Park

Taoranting Park is an urban garden planned, designed and built with Taoranting, a famous scenic spot in Yanjing, in the southern corner of Beijing as its center. The park was built in 1952. Because Taoranting is one of the four famous pavilions in China, the park is named after this pavilion. It covers an area of 59 hectares, of which 17 hectares are water surface. The Cibei Temple in the park was founded in the Yuan Dynasty, also known as Guanyin Temple. In the 34th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1695), Jiang Zao, the Minister of Industry who supervised the kiln factory, built a pavilion in Cibei Temple and named it "Taoran" based on the poem of the Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi, "Wait until the chrysanthemums are yellow and the wine is ripe, and I will get drunk and be intoxicated with you." The natural scenery here is beautiful, and it has become a place for literati and poets to feast, travel and chant. The park not only preserves historical relics from many dynasties since the Warring States Period and many ancient temples and shrines; it is also a memorial site for revolutionary pioneers such as Li Dazhao, Mao Zedong, and Zhou Enlai who engaged in revolutionary activities.

Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region Revolutionary Memorial Park

The Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Revolutionary Memorial Park is located in the center of Handan, a famous historical and cultural city with a glorious history of more than 3,000 years. It is divided into two courtyards, north and south, with a total area of 213,000 square meters. It was built in accordance with the spirit of the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China in March 1946 by the resolution of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region Senate to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs who died in the front headquarters of the Eighth Route Army, the Political Department, the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Military Region and the 129th Division in the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region, and was completed on October 21, 1950. As the first grand revolutionary memorial building of the Republic after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Revolutionary Memorial Park is a nationally famous revolutionary martyr memorial site with an early construction, large scale, high architectural art and beautiful environment in China. It is a national key martyr memorial building protection unit, a national patriotism education demonstration base, one of the top 100 red tourism classic scenic spots in the country, and a national 4A-level tourist attraction.
