Mr. Wu Wenming (1908-1988) was born in Fangshan County, Beijing. He is a descendant of the Qing Dynasty nobility. Under the influence of his family, he learned to play musical instruments since he was a child. In 1937, he went to Beijing to make national musical instruments. Later, he and his son Wu Zhongfu founded the "Hongyinzhai Musical Instrument Store" in the Xuanwumen East Market in Beijing. Wu Jingxin continued to innovate on the basis of inheritance, making the musical instruments more serialized and scientific. The products are made of exquisite materials, excellent workmanship, beautiful tone, and beautiful shape. They have high value for music appreciation and art collection, and also have certain artistic research value in the history of the development of national musical instruments.
