The Dulong people are one of China's ethnic minorities with a smaller population. They live in the river valley of the Dulong River in Gongshan Dulong and Nu Autonomous County, Yunnan Province. The traditional clothing of the Dulong people is usually linen or cotton clothes with black and white vertical stripes, and shorts. They are used to using linen to be pulled diagonally from the left shoulder to the chest. Women often wear dyed oil rattan rings around their waists as decorations. They often wear colorful beads, chest chains, and earrings. Young women used to have face tattoos. In the past, Dulong men used to wear a square blanket on their backs, from left to right, and tied it to their chests. They wore shorts. Now the Dulong people generally wear cloth clothes, but they still wear striped blankets outside their clothes, which is what people often call Dulong blankets. The Dulong people have relatively developed textile craftsmanship. Women like to use cotton, wool and linen of various colors to weave Dulong blankets, which are soft in texture and beautiful in patterns.
