Luokou Nanyun Bamboo Pole Fire Dragon (Second Batch Provincial Level) Ningdu Luokou Nanyun Bamboo Pole Fire Dragon was formed and preserved in Ningdu Luokou Nanyun Village. It is located 65 kilometers north of Ningdu. Nanyun is surrounded by mountains and has beautiful scenery. The Lu family who moved south due to war lived here. In order to fight against the erosion of the plague, they created the bamboo pole fire dragon, a form of symbolizing strength and resistance. After the plague disappeared, they preserved this form of activity and continuously improved it for commemoration and entertainment, thus forming a unique and rare folk culture style today. The bamboo pole fire dragon activity includes two major parts: the production of fire dragons and tigers, the rituals of fire dragons and tigers and their performances. Its activity form is simple, vigorous, and gorgeous, with a shocking artistic beauty.
