Legend of Zhuangxian Scattering Rice: After ascending to heaven on the Cloud Bridge, Zhuangzi often stayed by the side of the Jade Emperor and was highly valued. One winter, Zhuang Xian went to the human world to inspect and reported to the Jade Emperor: "Many people died of starvation because of lack of food in the human world. The situation is very miserable. Although I am a god, I can't do anything. People have no food to eat, and I can't offer anything to the gods. I also returned to the heavenly palace with an empty stomach." The Jade Emperor felt very sympathetic, so he said to Zhuangzi: "Take rice seeds to the human world and scatter a handful of rice with every step." Zhuang Xian followed the order and left the heavenly palace, took rice seeds with him, and scattered a handful of rice with every step. In spring, the ground was full of green rice. From then on, there was rice in the human world. In addition to steamed buns and fruits, there was also a bowl of white rice in the offerings of Zhuangzi Temple. Zhuangzi persuaded rain There is a Dengyun Bridge in Yuzhoutun Village, southwest of Dongming County. It is said that this is the place where Zhuangzi ascended to heaven. After Zhuangzi ascended to heaven, he was in charge of the people's life and death, fame and fortune, doing good deeds, and doing good deeds. He often talked about the world with other immortals, talking about the past and the present, and was free and easy. Dengyun Bridge is a place where spiritual phenomena appear in the eyes of local people. One day, a drunk man passed by Dengyun Bridge on his way home and urinated at the bridge head. He happened to be seen by the patrolling Dragon King of the East China Sea. He was furious and united all the dragon kings from all over the world to discuss that it would not rain in this place for three years. He wanted to make a big fire in this area and destroy this piece of land. As a result, there was no rain in the Dengyun Bridge area for a long time, and the sun was scorching, and more than half of the crops died of drought. People went to Zhuangzi Temple to burn incense, offer sacrifices, and pray for rain. After Zhuangzi knew about this, he went to the Dragon King of the East China Sea to inquire about the situation. The Dragon King of the East Sea said angrily: "You have done a lot of good deeds in the local area, but they are so disrespectful to you, defecating and urinating in the place where you ascended to heaven. Such people must be severely punished." Zhuangzi said: "The mistakes made by one person cannot be the cause of the suffering of the people in the whole area. If you want to punish, punish the one person who made the mistake, or you should make clouds and rain for the people and do good deeds and accumulate virtue." After hearing this, the Dragon King of the East Sea ordered the dragon son to make rain for the people in this area to relieve the suffering of drought for the people, but he did not make rain for the drunkard who urinated. From then on, there was a saying in Yuzhoutun Village that "no peeing on the bridge, no shitting under the bridge". Zhuang Zhou Tests His Wife (I) Legend has it that Zhuang Zhou lived in seclusion in Nanhua Mountain for 18 years and finally achieved the right result and became an immortal. But his mortal heart was not pure. Whenever he was quiet, he could not help but feel homesick. His master Laozi saw that he was homesick, so he allowed him to return home. One day in early spring, the weather was fine and the breeze was gentle. Zhuang Zhou was eager to return home. The breeze accompanied him and he returned to his hometown, Zhuangzhai Village. Zhuangzi thought to himself: "My wife, Yuniang, has lived alone at home for eighteen years, with simple meals and a lonely lamp in an empty room. Has she changed her mind?" As Zhuang Zhou was walking, he suddenly saw a young woman kneeling by a spring on the side of the road, fanning something with a fan. Zhuang Zhou couldn't help but ask out of curiosity: "Young woman, what are you fanning with a fan?" This is the Return Spring, where my husband has been away for many years. I heard that if I fan the spring dry, my husband will come back. After hearing this, Zhuang Zhou felt even more strange. How could an ordinary woman fan the spring dry? I'd better help her! Zhuang Zhou bowed deeply and said, "Young woman, can I help you fan it?" The young woman saw an elder with a fairy-like appearance coming in front of her, and handed over the fan. Zhuang Zhou took the fan and fanned the Return Spring three times, and the spring really dried up. The young woman was very surprised and said, "Ah, with the help of the immortal, my husband is coming back." At this time, Zhuang Zhou saw clearly that the young woman in front of him was actually his wife Zhou Yu Niang. Zhuang Zhou was stunned, and Yu Niang was even more stunned. The two opened their arms and hugged each other tightly. The couple returned home. Zhuang Zhou couldn't help but feel suspicious. When I left home, I had three thatched houses. How could it become a building? If someone didn't secretly help me, how could a weak woman change my family situation? He thought about it and decided to test his wife Yu Niang's heart. After dinner, Zhuang Zhou went to bed to rest, and Yu Niang set up a spinning wheel and spun thread in front of the bed. After a while, the wind blew outside the house. A gust of cool wind blew the quilt on Zhuang Zhou to the ground. Yu Niang hurriedly covered Zhuang Zhou with the quilt, but found that Zhuang Zhou's heart and feet were cold, and there was no breath from his mouth and nose. He had actually passed away. Yu Niang cried to the sky and the earth, and was extremely sad. She lamented her bad fate. She had just ended her 18 years of solitary life and finally waited for her husband to come back, but he died in the next day. Oh my God! My life is too hard! I might as well die. As she said this, she wanted to hit her head against the wall. It was also Yu Niang's fate that she should not die. At this time, a white-faced scholar came into the room. Before Yu Niang could speak, the scholar introduced himself: "I am your disciple, named Sun Huaizhou. Please accept my greetings, Master's wife." At this time, Yu Niang was still crying and did not listen to the scholar's words at all. The scholar continued: "Master's wife, since the person is dead, there is no point in crying. Now it is important to take care of the funeral. "At this time, Yu Niang stopped crying and invited the villagers to bury Zhuang Zhou. Three days had passed since the funeral. Sun Huaizhou diligently took care of the aftermath of his master. That night, Sun Huaizhou chatted with his master's wife in the room, and his conversation was full of care. Suddenly, Sun Huaizhou screamed and fell to the ground, unconscious. At this time, Yu Niang was stunned! What a good disciple! For the sake of the master, he was exhausted and died of illness. Suddenly, Yu Niang burst into tears and hugged the disciple with both hands. She cried and cried, and her tears finally dried up. Maybe Yu Niang was too tired, she fell asleep with Sun Huaizhou in her arms. When she woke up, she didn't see her disciple Sun Huaizhou, but saw her husband lying in her arms. At this time, she was ashamed. It was hard to say, so she pushed her husband Zhuang Zhou up, walked into the room, pulled up a three-foot white silk, and ended her life. When Zhuang Zhou saw his wife dead, he did not cry, but instead sang while knocking on the clay pot. If you die, I must bury you, and if I die, you must marry me. If I really die, it will be a big joke. After Zhuang Zhou finished singing, he laughed and broke the clay pot. Suddenly, thunder roared in the laughter, and a piece of yellow silk floated down from the sky, with four sentences written on it: Zhuang Zhou teased his wife, which violated the law of heaven. He was punished to be a half-immortal and could not go to heaven. Zhuang Zhou Tests His Wife (Part 2) On his way home, Zhuang Zhou passed by a new grave. In front of the grave, there was a woman in mourning clothes fanning the grave with a fan. Zhuangzi was very curious, so he went up and asked the woman: "Why are you fanning the grave with a fan?" The woman said: "My husband is buried in the grave. My husband and I were very affectionate when we were alive, so he was reluctant to leave me when he was dying. He told me that if he died, I could marry again, but not too soon, and wait until the soil on his grave was dry before remarrying. But now, the soil of this grave is drying too slowly. My current boyfriend and I can't wait any longer. In order not to break our oath, we fan the grave with a fan, hoping that the soil will dry up quickly. "After hearing this, Zhuang Zhou was deeply moved. It was really scary how people's hearts could change, but he also sympathized with this poor woman, so he cast a spell to dry the soil on the grave. After returning home, he told his wife Tian what happened on the road, and sighed: "Women are all the same. After I die, you will remarry soon. "Tian was furious when she heard this. She scolded Zhuang Zhou and swore that they would love each other till old age. Later, Zhuang Zhou fell ill and his illness became more and more serious. On his deathbed, he told Tian that she could remarry. Tian swore to heaven that she would love Zhuangzi till death and never remarry. This story shows that although husband and wife loved each other, people's hearts change quickly. After a person dies, they have to fan the grave with a fan so that they can remarry as soon as possible. This is a satirical story. It is intended to remind everyone that there should be a beginning and an end! Finally, Zhuang Zhou died. Tian buried Zhuang Zhou in grief and stopped the coffin in the house. One day, on the seventh day after Zhuang Zhou's death, a young man named Chu Wangsun, who claimed to be Zhuangzi's student, came to mourn Zhuangzi. Chu Wangsun was very handsome, and Tian fell in love with him unknowingly. The two fell in love and decided to get married, but Zhuangzi's seventh day had not yet passed. Suddenly, someone... One day, the grandson of the King of Chu fell ill, and his condition became worse and worse. Tian hurriedly asked a doctor to treat him. The doctor said that the grandson of the King of Chu had to be treated with human brains, otherwise he would not live long. But where could he find human brains for the grandson of the King of Chu to eat? Tian was very sad, and suddenly thought of Zhuang Zhou who was in the coffin. So Tian took an axe to split the coffin, ready to take Zhuang Zhou's brain to eat for the grandson of the King of Chu. Unexpectedly, after a few axe chops, Zhuang Zhou was resurrected after the coffin was split. It turned out that Zhuang Zhou used magic to test his wife, and the grandson of the King of Chu was transformed by Zhuang Zhou. Tian was ashamed and angry, and committed suicide. Because this legend was detrimental to Zhuangzi's image, the play "Splitting the Coffin and Awakening from a Dream" has not been performed in Zhuangzhai Village, Dongming County. The origin of Nanhua Mountain, Wanju, and Wubagang According to legend: in the Dongming area of Caozhou, there used to be Jishui, Pushui, and Qishui. Floods often occurred, houses collapsed, cattle and sheep ran away, crops drowned, and the people complained bitterly. This incident alarmed the Jade Emperor, who ordered the mountain gods to build several mountains in this place to block the flood and protect the people. Unexpectedly, the news was learned by an immortal, who accidentally leaked the secret. When the tiger knew about it, he ran to a place where a mountain was built, ready to occupy the mountain as king; when a dragon knew about it, he also ran to a place where a mountain was to be built to occupy the territory; when a phoenix knew about it, it also went to a place where a mountain was to be built to occupy the territory. The mountain god arranged to build a mountain, and saw that the tiger, dragon, and phoenix had all arrived in advance. So he reported to the Jade Emperor that the mountain could not be built. The tiger waited there for a few days, but no mountain was built, and he starved to death there, so people called this place the hungry tiger prison. There is still a Qimu Ridge and Bamu Terrace in the present-day Tonggu Ji; There was no mountain in the place occupied by the dragon, but a mound was built. People called it Longshan, and later it became a market town, which is now Longshanji in Datun Township, Dongming County; Phoenix flew away when it saw that there was no mountain, leaving behind a little phoenix, which was called Wuji. During the Han Dynasty, this place was established as a county called Wanju County. There were also 500 mounds in the middle, but no mountains were built, so they were called Wubaigang. Later, because Duke Huan of Qi met with the princes here, it was also called Wubagang (now Wubagang Village, Luquan Town, Dongming County). There was also a mound in the north, because it was on the north side of Nanhuagou, it was called Nanhua Mountain. After Zhuangzi retired, he came to Nanhua Mountain with Pushui in the north and Qishui in the south, built a thatched house and lived in seclusion.
