Songshan Mountain in Linqu has four distinct seasons. There are more than ten springs in the mountain, such as Cuimu Spring, Xiyu Spring, Songshan Temple Spring, etc., which form a river network. There are thousands of trees and lush grass. It is a natural pasture for goats to grow. The raw materials for the whole lamb banquet are taken from here. Linqu whole lamb banquet uses castrated Songshan old goats (over 3 years old and weighing 25 kilograms) as raw materials. Different parts of the goat's body are matched with different seasonings (including the root of the local wild plant "Shanhuazi"), and different production processes are used to prepare 127 dishes with different flavors and nutritional values, such as Qilinding (goat head), black and white chess pieces (goat blood), Jindingguan (goat brain), goose feather snowflakes (goat belly collar), etc.
